Summer illustration series

This is a series of illustrations dedicated to my memories of the summer 2022. In them I tried to capture the brightest and most emotional moments of my summer. The size of all works in the original A5, materials - ink, black pen.
1. It was a rainy day, the stream was overflowing and bubbling below, it was slippery, wet and drops fell on the screen of my mobile phone. August 30, summer is already over.
2. An old attic with musty air and remnants of the life of previous generations, heated during the day. The attic is full of artifacts of the last century obtained by the sweat and blood of my ancestors.
3. Grandmother has her own garden in the village, almost an eden, everything is fragrant, green, fruiting, because she takes care of all this every day goes to the village and returns in the evening; she has a lot of things to do and I confess I don't want them to end.
4. A sickle instead of a lawn mower, as a symbol, the plastic basin looked so awkward and organic, as if everything should be like that.
5. It's not a church here, it's a monastery. Height, spaciousness, wide expanses of white walls, cold light at noon, aloofness and grandeur. Modern pilgrims come by car.
6. Ozel from the Komi language is strawberry lake. August evening in Ozel is a sunset with the taste of lingonberries, bitter chocolate and milk. Cows almost ate our sneakers, but we saved the shoes..
7. There were a couple of evenings when, returning from the river at the same time as sunset, we met with a dense white fog enveloping the field, in sunlight on the road it was not visible beyond 2-3 meters (and even the headlights did not save). There was something magical about this milky river.
8. Coziness in agingThe old houses are the most charming. The stove with cracks is attractive. Hand-knitted rugs.
Thank you for watching!
